How to break the 4 gb limitation for an encrypted partition on a USB Pendrive

By default, USB flash drives use the FAT32 file system. This FS has a limitation of the file size of 4gb for any file. And Master Voyager cannot create >4 gb partitions on USB flash drives with a FAT32 file system.

But since version 2.20 it is possible to create >4 gb secure partitions for USB flash drives formatted to NTFS or exFAT file systems.

Please note that NTFS is available on any windows OS since Windows 2000. Therefore, any modern Windows OS will be able to read your USB flash drive formatted to the NTFS file system.

But exFAT is a very new file system that has been introduced by Microsoft.

exFAT is supported on Windows XP with Service Pack 2, 3 with the update KB955704, Windows Vista with Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2008, and Windows 7.

To know what file system your USB flash drive uses, click the "USB Memory Stick Information" button on the main toolbar of Master Voyager.

To reformat your USB flash drive to another file system, click the "Format" button on the main toolbar of Master Voyager.
